Overview


The Corporate Trainer creates training content and facilitates training sessions for origination and processing staff. Content creation includes professional presentations, standard operating procedures (SOPs), recorded trainings, micro-learning videos, and learning management system courses. Facilitation is primarily delivered virtually using blended learning techniques, but eLearning and in-person sessions are also utilized.

Additionally, this role maintains the platforms which provide trainings, continuously updates content, provides recommendations for improved efficiencies, and builds relationships with key stakeholders and subject matter experts. The Corporate Trainer ensures both new hires and current employees receive top-tier training experiences.


Responsibilities


??? Facilitate virtual and in-person trainings for branch staff (origination and processing), including:

  • New Hire Training for Origination
  • New Hire Training for Processing
  • Strategic Initiative Rollouts
  • Skill Development Seminars


??? Create and curate content to be used in trainings (i.e. professional presentations) as well as SOPs used by branch staff


??? Publish training registration links, manage training calendar, promote upcoming trainings, and provide attendee reports when needed


??? Produce recorded training sessions and micro-learning videos


??? Partner with subject matter experts to streamline process and procedure, and provide recommendations for more efficient workflows


??? Assist in management and maintenance of learning management system (LMS), including:

  • Registering new hires for required training
  • Registering existing employees for required training
  • Tracking and reporting completion of training
  • Assisting users requesting LMS support


??? Create, review, and distribute email communication from Luminate Training Department


??? Assist in continuous build-out and refinement of Luminate Training Department intranet content


??? Provide support in testing new initiatives prior to rollout, tracking known issues, and recommending optimal solutions


Qualifications

??? Minimum 2 years mortgage industry experience in origination, processing, or training role

??? Excellent written and verbal communication skills

??? Confident speaking to large groups in both virtual and in-person environments

??? Highly organized and analytical

??? Extremely adaptable and intellectually curious

??? Demonstrated ability to multi-task, problem solve, and improve efficiencies

??? Strong familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite

??? Encompass experience strongly preferred

??? Ability to travel when needed

??? Eager to learn professional training skills


Prior training experience is not required, but candidate must have passion to learn and utilize professional training skills, including principles of Adult Learning Theory (ATL) for content creation and training session facilitation.
