Using our unique rotational molding process, we produce large, really cool molded products like Yeti coolers, furniture, kayaks, and playground and agricultural equipment, just to name a few. Our Process Technicians provide support for the molding operations including preparation, set-up and troubleshooting of ovens. This role works directly with the Mold Operators/Casters, Shift Leads and Production Supervisors to oversee rotomolding oven production. Level of experience is used to determine pay range. Find out more about Dutchland by visiting our website: on "Safety First" when performing your job and enforce safety policies within lean cell area.Actively engage in all lean manufacturing activities.Performs complete oven set up from balancing an arm, proper mold mounting and processing.Maintain full understanding of the molding process and how to adjust the equipment to achieve customer expectations.Examine sample product and work with quality control personnel to gain approval of sample for productions. Understand how to repair parts to meet customer expectations.Examine work to detect production defects and identify root cause.Maintain a clean and organized work environment by implementing 6-S principles.Keep machine up and running.Manage and staff cell to proper levels.Understand Epicor system for running cell.Assist lead person in training any new hire.Able to fill back fill any position in the cell to assist in production to meet Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, and Morale.Requirements:Four years of applicable manufacturing experience in a lead role.Ability to troubleshoot rotational molding situations and provide solutions.Reliable transportation.Proven work history with good attendance.Good organizational and communication skills.Ability to use basic quality control tools and to read blueprints.Physical Job RequirementsThis is a physically demanding position; Employees must possess the physical qualities necessary to perform the following job requirements: Casters are continuously required to stand; walk; carry; grasp/grip; and lift up to 25 pounds.The position frequently requires the ability to bend/twist, push, and pull.On occasion, this position requires the ability to climb, move in repetitive motions, and lift up to 50 pounds.Work Environment: Manufacturing plant environment with warmer temperatures near ovens.Dutchland is an Equal Opportunity Employer and uses E-Verify; satisfactory completion of a drug screen for all new hires is required.
