Mission:
Promotes Zero Harm Culture
Develops, proposes methods of maintaining effective safety management system, and ensures business processes incorporate EHS as an Active component of business culture and behaviors through business operating policies and procedures, work instructions etc.
Understands, works with and enforces minimum compliance of EHS requirements for employees visiting Customer and Supplier sites, including interaction and agreement where necessary with Customer and Supplier EHS
Proposes safety-related targets, budget and resources
Supports implementation of safety guidelines
Collects, evaluates and compiles safety data, including JSR s, Safety Observations, Near-Miss reporting etc., and ensures availability of reporting forms and portals for general application and use
Supports risk assessments, plans and conducts EHS audits and assessments
Supports and initiates incident investigation.
Supports corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
Organizes and conducts training measures, maintains training logs and ensures employees remain up to date on required EHS training
Determines and escalates non-conformities.
Supports organization of emergency first aid procedures
Ensures company wide understanding and compliance with Industry, Location and Customer norms and standards (OSHA, EPA, DNR, ISNet etc.) and establishes partnering relationships with authorities and 3rd parties in maintaining certifications and registrations
Supports other Energy SO sites on as-needed basis, and acts as SME for regulatory compliance topics
Dimensions:
Domestic USA responsibility, primarily Rothschild, WI and Broussard, LA, with expectation of travel to additional Siemens Energy Sites, and strong internal and external networking required
Responsible to maintain and implement Zero Harm Culture and Monitor / Manage through Safety KPI s
Reporting to the Senior Management as IC, with Constant Communication and Interaction with Management and Employee teams, and functional direction from Business Unit and Division EHS leads
