• Internal Sales Representative

Ascent Specialized is a growing logistics provider looking to expand our Sales and Operation team.

Ascent Specialized, an independent operating segment of Ascent Global Logistics, is a U.S. based third party logistics provider, specializing in flatbed, over-dimensional, heavy haul, project management and intermodal/drayage solutions. Committed to providing customized solutions and premium customer service.

Job Overview:

• Understanding our client's needs and being able to communicate creative transportation solutions is vital to our success.
• Sales Representatives and operation Specialists are responsible for bringing in new clients and new carriers and maintaining client relationships with clear and effective communication.
• We are looking for someone that is proficient with computers, and hold a strong ability to verbally communicate with others.
• These individuals must be able to multitask while working in a fast-paced environment.

Education and experience:

• High School Dimploma
• Knowledge of the transportation industry
• Knowledge of US Geography and basic map reading skills is required
• Ability to operate basic office equipment and learn software systems
