Position Summary

This position is a marketing leadership role in a leading FinTech company, Solutran, that is operating independently as part of Optum Finance.

A successful candidate will be responsible for marketing Solutran's leading consumer payments platform used by leading health plans, consumer product brands, and retailers. This position requires experience in B2B and B2C communications, and content for B2B marketing will be the primary focus. This position also supports a variety of marketing projects for company initiatives in other groups.

Essential

Duties & Responsibilities
  • Work directly with CMO to develop and execute world-class marketing communications content related to key products and new product launches.
  • Lead the team in creating and managing compelling content that resonates with target audiences. Content to include:
  • Lead generation emails and marketing automation
  • Corporate website
  • Testimonials | White papers | Case studies
  • Webinars
  • Social posts
  • Press releases, media kits
  • Sales literature
  • Ad tests
  • RFP responses
  • Coordinate conferences and tradeshows as needed.
  • Input as requested to the content development of collateral/literature, sales presentations, program websites and program emails.
  • Provide recommendations on product positioning, user experience enhancements and social media activation.
  • Follow messaging strategy and ensure a consistent brand voice.
  • Manage workflows to ensure projects are completed on deadline.
  • Manage relationships with strategic partners and vendors.
  • Collaborate regularly with cross-functional managers.
  • Analyze data for targeting marketing communications.
  • Attract and retain communications talent within the marketing team. Provide feedback and measure success for direct reports.
  • Work with minimal direction while keeping projects highly visible.

Minimum Qualifications
  • BS or BA degree required in marketing, communications, or related emphasis.
  • Approximately 8 years of experience in B2B marketing communications
  • Strong organizational skills, experience leading a team to achieve organization goals
  • Excellent collaboration skills, socially focused with a "how can I help you?" approach
  • Energy builder with positive, "can do" attitude
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks/projects and deadlines at once
  • Demonstrated track record of attention to detail
  • Self-motivated, with a record of accomplishment
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office products and marketing automation platforms such as Pardot or Marketo
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with the Creative Cloud and PowerPoint presentation software
  • Advanced degree (Masters, MBA)
  • B2C marketing experience
  • Healthcare communications experience

WORKING CONDITIONS

The position is a combination in-office (Plymouth, Minnesota) and work-from-home based position. Local Twin Cities candidates, only, please.
