Hourly Commerical Superintendent

This individual is responsible for managing General Contracting and Construction Management design-build projects that will include structural restoration, fa??ade and building envelope restoration, curtain wall replacement, interior restoration, parking garage restoration, plaza decks, subgrade waterproofing, and emergency action projects. Working knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems a plus. This will involve working with the Construction managers assigned to the project to ensure delivery on time and within budget as well as selecting and managing all sub-contractors on site. Provide specialized supervision and project management services for design-build contracts to institutional and government clients.

Additional duties will include participating in the development of proposals, specifications, price estimates, schedules, and sales efforts as they affect the aforementioned projects. Responsibilities will also include Sales & Service Support, Field Resource & Customer Management communication as necessary.

Duties/Responsibilities, Core knowledge:

• Safety - 10-hour certification required
• Participating in the development and enforcement of job site safety plans
• General building standards knowledge
• Resolving project issues and problems
• Scheduling
• Shop drawing and product submittal review
• RFI responsibility
• Providing coordination between subcontractors and owner operations
• Quality control and affirming specifications are followed in accordance with Tremco/WTI standards
• Project cost control
• Generating daily progress reports on project status and safety
• Direct labor management
• Resource Management
• Change order pricing and negotiation
• Computer Literacy: Email, web, MSWord, and MSExcel
• Ensuring Owner satisfaction.
