Information Technology Director

Salary Range: $80,000- $100,000

The Information Technology (IT) Director will serve as the primary resource to Oglala Lakota College (OLC) on the most current communications and information technology and will develop and oversee a customer-focused, cost-effective IT organizational approach. The IT Director will research and recommend innovations and solutions to meet current and future technology challenges at OLC. The IT Director will provide oversight and supervision of existing IT staff members. The IT Director will report directly to the Vice President of Business.

Qualifications

1. Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field required. Master's Degree in related fields preferred.
2. Extensive experience (5+ or 8+ years) working in IT operations, supervising technology teams, and overseeing large information technology infrastructures.
3. Excellent understanding of computer systems, security, network and systems administration, user end software, distance learning systems, localized and distributed networks, databases and data storage systems, and telecommunications systems.
