How you will contribute:

This position is located within the IT Department ideally out of the corporate office in Fond du Lac, WI with an openness for the right candidate to sit in our Appleton, Milwaukee or Madison offices.

The Business Systems Analyst (BSA) will take a lead role in identifying, quantifying, and implementing projects to improve business processes and systems. The person in this position will grow to understand the business and processes as well as the functionality and operation of supporting software packages and apply that knowledge to educate and assist users in finding efficient ways to meet their needs. You will be tasked with maximizing the use and efficiency with existing IT tools as well as project managing the implementation of technology solutions to drive efficiency within the business units. The BSA will work collaboratively with leaders and subject matter experts across the organization to implement operational improvements that focus on enhancing quality, productivity, and cost-saving initiatives. This role serves as a change agent for developing and encouraging a culture that is driven by best practice market leadership, quality, accountability, scalability and growth

  • Understand the business needs in order to define/apply technology solutions to improve process
  • Research solution options and define the costs and benefits of the solution alternatives
  • Define custom software solutions and basic data structures
  • Perform functional testing, specification, and documentation of new systems and system enhancements


What you need to qualify:

Qualified candidates will understand business processes and software configuration; be organized and methodical. Good verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work directly with business users and software vendors. 5+ years of related experience defining and managing multiple projects with varying degrees of complexity. Proven success collaborating with stakeholders who have a variety of different skill levels to design and document workflows, identify and validate business requirements, and create business change recommendations. Candidates must be eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship.


Additional Experience / Skills / Abilities

Basic SQL skills to investigate existing system data structures

Basic analytical ability to gather and interpret information and develop, recommend and implement solutions.

Experience writing system usage and procedure documents.

Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment

Ability to organize work, respond to changing priorities, and multitask

Education: BS or BBA in business or Management Information Systems or related field of study
