Web Accessibility and Application Specialist
Full-Time, 12-Month, Benefited

Position Summary:
The Web Accessibility and Application Specialist reports to the Director of Enterprise Applications. The successful candidate will provide technical leadership for ensuring VCSU digital accessibility compliance; provide general IT analyst-level support for enterprise applications, including system administration, documentation, user support and training, and basic web development.

Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. Experience with web development. Proficiency with Office 365 and Adobe Acrobat Professional. Excellent verbal, written and collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications:
One year of experience in each of the following areas: web development, applying WCAG guidelines to ensure document or web content accessibility, providing IT user support and training, work in a higher education setting. IAAP Web Accessibility Specialist certification.

Compensation:
$45,000-$51,000. Comprehensive fringe benefit package including employer paid full family coverage for health insurance, TIAA retirement, and tuition waiver benefits.
