Accountemps is actively searching for an Accountant. You will be responsible for entering data, reviewing financial statements, and creating and manipulating Excel spreadsheets. You will report to the Accounting Manager, be a vital member of a dynamic team, and have the potential for career growth. Do you love Excel and have a positive attitude? For this short-term temporary position, you should be willing to work in Green Bay, Wisconsin.

Major responsibilities

- Investigating and fixing account discrepancies

- Making sure that accounts contained in the general ledger are correct

- Assisting with full cycle Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable processes

- Assisting with audit fieldwork for both operational and financial audit

- Carrying out alternate duties and taking part in special projects as assigned

- Input data

- Prepare journal entries monthly

Job Requirements:
- 3+ years of relevant accounting experience necessary

- AA degree or BS/BA degree in Accounting, Finance or Business preferred

- Well-founded grasp of Monthly Accruals

- NetSuite experience

- Experience with financial auditing

- Journal Entry Preparation experience

- General familiarity with Commercial Insurance

- Knowledge of journal entries

- Proven knowledge of auditing

- Journal Entry experience

- Ability to enter data into various electronic systems while maintaining the integrity and accuracy of the data

- Excellent oral and written communications skills

- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel (PivotTables, vlookups) is preferred

- Able to work independently as well as part of a team with flexibility and willingness to learn and to take initiative on variety of tasks and projects

- Detailed and have the ability work independently
