Position Purpose:
This position exists to modernize our student and campus community experience through streamlined systems that provide a robust digital user experience. This position directly supports campus strategy and priorities, including student recruitment, enrollment and retention. This role provides business analysis, technical analysis, process improvement, technical development and technical coordination and support throughout the digital automation lifecycle. This position consults with stakeholders, analyzes business requirements, and designs, develops and implements digital forms, workflows and signatures used by the campus community. This position is also expected to understand the need for data associated with implemented solutions so that the department can make more data-informed decisions.

Minimum qualifications:
?? Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in computer science, information technology, engineering, business administration or equivalent combination of education and related experience
?? 2 years of related IT or business administration experience in web development and multiple software platforms (such as SharePoint and workflow software or similar software products where skills can easily transfer).
?? Experience with enterprise website analysis, design, development and administration sufficient to maximize business process and workflows.
?? Proficiency and experience with currently utilized development technologies including: HTML, XHTML and CSS.
?? Process improvement knowledge and experience so that automation is creating efficiencies and streamlined improvements.
?? Project management skills sufficient to manage multiple projects simultaneously, create clear and attainable project objectives, build project requirements, oversee the cost, time and scope of projects, manage project constraints, and communicate progress and end results.
?? Strong verbal communication skills sufficient to participate in discussions and communicate technical idea and procedures to technical and non-technical staff and managers and present recommendations and reports to senior managers.
?? Strong written communication skills sufficient to write, prepare, and edit materials such as memos, procedures, reports, presentations, etc., using correct spelling, punctuation, grammar, and sentence construction and clearly explaining complex technical ideas and procedures to varied technical and non-technical audiences.
?? Customer services skills sufficient to actively listen to and understand customer needs and provide accurate information and appropriate alternatives in a timely, thorough, courteous, respectful, and professional manner in person, over the phone and in writing.

Preferred qualifications:
  • 2 years of experience with process improvement, preferably LEAN process improvement.
  • Experience with service-oriented architecture.
  • Experience with relationship management and techniques to understand user and system requirements.
  • Knowledge and experience working with software applications and SaaS.
  • Experience in higher education.
  • Experience leading tasks in project teams utilizing Agile principles, practices and methodologies.
