Renaissance Milwaukee West, a new premium distinctive hotel is seeking an energized and curious minded Food Runner to join our team.

Role Summary:

• Maintain the cleanliness of the dining room and service areas. Provide professional, competent, and prompt service to guests.

Responsibilities:

• Proactively monitor and anticipate guest needs. Assist servers by advising on guest needs.
• Organize and restock service stations and condiments.
• Sort dishes and carry trays to utility station.
• Polish dining utensils daily.
• Assist with food running.
• Assure prompt, efficient service according to dining room standards.
• Report to work on time and in full uniform.
• Working efficiently and comfortably in a fast paced environment.
• Fold napkins throughout the day to maintain an adequate supply.
• Maintain minimum cleanliness standards of all dining room and service areas (including dish removal, pre-bussing, trash removal, and floor maintenance - mopping, sweeping, and vacuuming).
• Bus tables at a moderate pace with attention to detail.
• Continually execute sanitation and cleanliness standards.

Desired Skills and Experience:

• Fine dining experience preferred.
• Flexible availability is required (including nights and weekends).
• This position requires continuous standing, full mobility, and lifting and carrying up to 50 pounds and on occasion up to 70 pounds.

Compensation:

• The starting pay for this position is $8.00 per hour. This is a tip-eligible position.
