Senior Staff Accountant

Our client in the West metro has an opening for a Staff Accountant to join their team. This is a smaller company under 20MM in revenue. This position will report to the Controller and will assist in a variety of duties listed below. This company is growing and they are excited about the expansion of this team over time!

- Regularly maintain and reconcile journal entries

- Contribute to the implementation, maintenance and adherence to internal controls and accounting procedures ensuring compliance with GAAP

- Perform month end close, journal entries, with minimum supervision

- Assist with the month end, quarter end and year end closing process by preparing monthly financial close workbooks

- Maintain fixed asset ledgers, depreciation, and reconciliation

- Special projects and impromptu reporting, upon request

- Produce analyses for monthly balance sheets and income statements for reporting by management

- Intercompany billings, transactions, and reconciliation

- Play a part in a variety of department-wide initiatives

Degree in Accounting

3+ years of experience

Nuts and bolts accounting experience
