Senior Corporate Accounting Consultant - Remote

??????100% Remote Opportunity?????? Must be a MN resident to be considered. Our large client is seeking an individual to assist with their daily corporate accounting team. This team is currently in the midst of an enterprise-wide SAP implementation, and they are in need of an individual to assist with daily tasks while they are pulled into the implementation.
The current team supports every division within the company, they deal with cash, investments, compensation/benefits, prepaids, accruals, intercompany accounting, etc.
Technical aspects are not included (SEC, financial reporting)

While the role does not have an exact job description, the idea is for the contractor to have enough depth/breadth in corporate accounting to allow for him/her to plug and play where needed. Meaning, hands-on experience with maintaining daily processes of cash, accruals, intercompany accounting, reconciliations, journal entries, developing financial statements, etc. Another key element to this role is communication. Since corporate accounting is the central hub for issues with the business units, there is often communication across divisions. Corporate accounting is often helping other areas when they have questions and/or issues. The ideal candidate will have several years of corporate accounting experience, and will be someone who can work independently while operating in a remote environment. Target compensation is $40.00-$50.00/hr
