SUMMARY

To provide administrative support to the Vice President & General Manager, Diversigen, and support Directors of Diversigen leadership team which include: Service Operations, Bioinformatics, Software, and Laboratory.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

GENERAL ADMINISTRATIVE

Prepare and process VP, Directors and Sales team expense reports.

Attend weekly/monthly leadership team meetings and prepare minutes.

Plan, schedule and coordinate meetings for various Diversigen teams.

Manage calendar schedules and travel for VP and direct reports.

Prepare departmental new hire and intern paperwork, including schedule for onboarding

Exercise considerable judgment in working with highly confidential information, reports, correspondence, filing and records pertaining to department matters.

Distribution of daily mail, e-mail, memo's faxing, copying, filing, binders, reports, etc., handles routine correspondence as assigned.

Handle heavy volume of correspondence (i.e., email, faxes, mailers, invoices, phone messages, etc.) with various outside vendors and internal constituents.

Take on other duties as assigned (Administrative updates to systems such as Wrike, LIMS, etc.)

Coordinate on-site events (meetings, catering, ordering supplies, distributing company materials, etc.)


QUALIFICATIONS

Requires proficient knowledge of the Company's products and services.

Requires a professional, articulate manner with a strong attention to detail.

Must be able to work efficiently and effectively, handling many tasks simultaneously.

Must have good written and verbal communication skills, organizational skills and consistent follow through skills.

Must have the ability to effectively interact with all levels of management both inside and outside the company.

Expert in Microsoft Word, Excel and Power Point Software Packages, Outlook.

Must be quality focused and detail oriented.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

Associate degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; and 3-5 years working experience.
