Customer Engineer

Position Summary:

The Customer Engineer supports customers developing their technology at SkyWater. You will be the Voice of the Customer inside SkyWater for your assigned programs as they transition from early-phase development up through production launch. You will work directly with our Advanced Technology Services team ensuring technical and business milestones are defined and achieved. You will also work with the Sales team to identify new opportunities within your customer base.

Customer delight and predicable revenue generation will be measures of success for this position. In addition, this opportunity provides candidates with a technical background a path into a business role within the rapidly expanding US semiconductor industry.

Responsibilities:

?? Manage existing customer accounts by serving as the primary interface between the customer and internal groups (Engineering, Quality, Operations)

o Continually foster close connections with customer stakeholders and position SkyWater as a Trusted Innovation Partner (vs a transactional vendor).

o Deliver outcomes and results for customer projects; be able to identify barriers and priorities and resolve issues.

o Communicate information on behalf of company subject matter experts while offering solutions to meet the needs as described by customers.

o Drive production readiness through SkyWater's Technology Realization Process

o Address customer concerns and continually find ways for SkyWater to add value.

o Own generating and executing Quarterly program reviews with internal and customer stakeholder.

?? Identify and partner with Sales to develop new business opportunities within existing customer accounts.

o Educate customers on the functionality and capabilities of our technologies and processes to drive further business development.

o Understand, and communicate customer's requirements for new opportunities.

o Generate SOWs leveraging internal and external partners.

o Support the Sales team in closure of expanded business.

?? Provide quarterly Revenue Projections and demand forecasts (BOQ) for assigned accounts.

The job also requires performing other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor's Degree in Engineering

Experience and/or Training:

?? Minimum 3 to 5 years in a process or manufacturing engineering role with a desire to move into a customer-facing role.

?? Demonstrated account and/or project management skills.

?? Experiences related to technology development or advanced manufacturing.

?? Demonstrated ability to work independently as well as in a close team environment.

?? Clear problem-solving capability: data driven, inventive solution-oriented, and well-articulated thought processes.

?? Possess exceptional communication/interpersonal, analytical and problem-solving skills.

?? Ability and willingness to lead presentations up to and including C-suite participants.

?? Effective time management skills.

Technology/Equipment: Proficient computer skills such as Excel, PowerPoint, Word

U.S. Citizen Required: This position will require the holding of or ability to obtain government security clearance which requires U.S Citizenship.

Experience:

?? Experience or knowledge of semiconductor or other high-tech industries.

?? Experience with Smartsheet, NetSuite, Tableau & Salesforce
