JOB OVERVIEW:
Responsible for phone-based sales, partnering with Dental Practitioners and our field sales team, acting as an expert in emergency/non-emergency replacement of critical Dental Equipment and Technology. Key performance elements include partnering with Field Sales Consultants and Sales Specialists (ESS/DTS) team to improve "speed to customer" with overall customer contact, product discovery activities and quote while increasing sales growth, improving gross margin attainment.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Perform phone-based equipment and technology selling functions to prospective customers. Focused on providing customers with fast product selection, quote turnaround time and installation.
- Support TSM's as the equipment and technology expert in the areas including but not limited to dental compressors, vacuums, sterilizers, extraoral x-rays, digital sensors, and intraoral cameras.
- Receive leads from multiple sources including the field team or directly from a customer via phone and email.
- Deliver a unique and superior frictionless customer experience while achieving high gross margins.
- Work with customer to select the proper piece of equipment or technology, considering current inventory levels.
- Offer Henry Schein Financial Services to customers.
- Understand and effectively promote company-wide sales programs.
- Track multiple data points while speaking to the customer.
- Create and deliver fast quotes via our propriety process.
- Communicate and execute company terms of sale.
- Complete Equipment Order Agreement, including customer signatures, and document all pertinent install details.
- Work with dedicated operation team members, providing them all necessary information for quick order processing.
- Create opportunity in Salesforce and chatter to notify the field team of the sale progress.
- Using Salesforce and collected data points, work with Director of Fast Track to provide leadership detailed reporting on Fast Track sales.
- Participate in special projects and performs other duties as required.
SPECIFIC KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:
- Sales knowledge, attention to detail and project management skills, knowledge of dental equipment, technology, service, and understanding of clinical and restorative dentistry.
Qualifications:
- At least five years of prior sales-related or technician experience required
- Bachelor's degree preferred

TRAVEL / PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
Travel less than 10%. Office environment. No special physical demands required.
