As a Principal HR Technology analyst aligned to the Payroll, Time and Absence lead workstreams, you will be critical to our transition from Peoplesoft and other internal systems to Workday, UKG (Kronos) and ServiceNow. You'll serve as primary partner to our Payroll, Time and Absence-related stakeholders throughout the business and drive the development of technology solutions that ensure payroll, time and absence processes are optimally designed and executed. You'll develop deep knowledge of UKG and act as UKG product lead (SME) across all aspects of UKG development and solution delivery. What you'll do * Develop technology solutions that ensure the accurate and timely execution of payroll, infusing quality checks into processes to achieve zero errors and to minimize audit risk * Provide direction to, and partner with, HR Technology analyst also aligned to Payroll, Time and Absence workstreams to ensure the execution of all processes * Manage, maintain and evolve configuration of payroll, time and absence processes within Workday and UKG; manage data loads into internal and external systems as needed * Identify intersections between technologies and groups; ensure intersections and integrations are accounted for in design decisions and testing * Facilitate effective communication and collaboration across the broad project team * Develop and maintain roadmaps for payroll, time and absence; serve as UKG product lead * Act as change agent; generate excitement and address concerns; research technology capabilities and develop expertise * Ensure alignment of processes to SOX and other compliance requirements, audit practices and overall governance strategy * Investigate and troubleshoot system issues, identify root causes, and determine and document solutions * Streamline business processes through automation and align processes with technology * Provide technical and functional support including system maintenance, reports, queries, interfaces and security * Document processes to ensure ease of reference * Support development and maintenance of training and communications materials * Analyze data and information to recommend, create and carry out data analysis and process improvement opportunities * Research system functionality and roadmap to ensure maximum utilization of technology solutions * Promote the strategic vision for technology, and integrate processes with overall technology strategy * Drive the execution of our technology roadmap that enhances HR value offerings through expanded capability, increased ease of use and user adoption, and greater efficiency, accuracy, and compliance * Partner with SMEs and peers internally, and vendors externally, to improve processes and gain efficiencies * Assume lead role in cross-workstream and cross-division projects to improve and operationalize end-to-end employee processes What we look for We're interested in intellectually curious people, with a genuine passion for finding and implementing innovative, progressive ways to tackle complex issues.
