Business Development Manager

Miller & Miller is a Milwaukee based bankruptcy law firm looking for an ambitious and energetic Business Development Manager to help us expand our clientele. The Business Development Manager will manage and lead our business development team. This position is based out of our downtown Milwaukee office.

You will be managing the start of our client life cycle and will have the dedication to create and apply an effective sales strategy. The goal is to drive sustainable financial growth through boosting sales and forging strong relationships with clients and referral sources.

You will be responsible for planning, supporting and implementing a broad array of business development initiatives to help expand Miller & Miller's business and reputation. Working with several departments within the firm, you will advise lawyers on consultation outcomes, handle consultations, work with the business development team to increase conversions, create materials, conduct research and analysis, manage and monitor lead sources and listings, and complete lawyer directory submissions.

The preferred candidate is an attorney in good standing, and active with the Wisconsin State Bar. At a minimum, candidates must have a bachelor's degree in marketing or a related field, with a minimum of three years of relevant experience in professional services or law firm business development, ideally in debt relief. Exceptional interpersonal and verbal and written communication skills are critical to success as are friendly, collaborative and team player attributes. The successful candidate must be a self-starter who thrives on juggling numerous tasks and projects on fast timetables and can handle high-pressure environments. Candidates should have strong to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and some knowledge of applications specific to the legal field.
