Electrical Engineering PLC Programmable Logic Controls Technician

This stable, established, growing, family-oriented, flexible system integration company is hiring a full time, permanent Electrical Engineering Programmable Logic Controls Technician. Employees love working here because they are treated well. There is an option for working four ten-hour days and/or working ten days and then having four days off. There is paid overtime. This duties and responsibilities of the successful candidate should include the following:

* Installing, servicing and supporting control systems and instrumentation
* Plumbing pneumatics
* Assembling control panels
* Wiring
* Following electrical schematics
* Setting up, calibrating, and servicing instrumentation, control devices, and systems
* Assisting the engineers in system I/O check out
* Managing and leading the installation of large control systems
* Making minor changes using AutoCAD
* Travelling 30% up to 50% initially but traveling will go to 30% consistently long-term

The successful candidate will have a background that includes:

* One or more years of experience installing, servicing and supporting control systems and instrumentation
* One or more years of Programmable Logic Controls experience
* A solid understanding ofdrawings of electrical schematics and panel layouts
* An ability to initially travel up to 50%
