Communications and Brand Management
Communications and Brand Management delivers strategic internal, external, and executive communications for Wells Fargo and is responsible for driving the company's brand strategy. The team provides world-class counsel to accelerate the business and deliver relevant content to build trust, drive stakeholder perception, and protect and enhance the company's reputation.

We're seeking a dynamic and innovative Creative Director who will play a leading role in delivering best-in-class editorial content that advances Wells Fargo's reputation. This position reports to the head of the Editorial Content Center of Excellence within Wells Fargo's Communications and Brand Management organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development of modern and compelling creative content in support of priority communications and brand initiatives.
  • Develop strategic briefs in consultation with key stakeholders to guide the creative process and ensure effective and strategic content development.
  • Develop content asset lists and schedules for priority initiatives and manage/track projects to completion.
  • Coordinate with peer managers of creative capabilities teams (video, graphics, editing and copywriting) and review creative to ensure content satisfies creative briefs and is delivered on schedule.
  • Consult with communications and brand colleagues to build persuasive and impactful campaigns.

Required Qualifications

  • 7+ years of communications experience in one or more of the following disciplines: public relations, media relations or corporate communications

  • Ability to execute in a fast paced, high demand, environment while balancing multiple priorities
  • Ability to negotiate, influence, and collaborate to build successful relationships
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and across all organizational levels, where flexibility, collaboration, and adaptability are important
  • Leadership skills including the ability to influence effectively in a matrix environment
  • Experience developing integrated communications strategies and plans that align with business objectives
  • Experience presenting information in a manner that persuades, educates, and enhances understanding at all levels
  • Ability to take initiative, identify opportunities and implement change



Other Desired Qualifications
  • Experience developing compelling content and communications and leveraging multiple channels for creative storytelling
  • Broad experience with digital platforms including social.

  • Ability to travel up to 5% of the time
