UND Aerospace Foundation seeks Air Traffic Control (ATC) Coordinator/Instructor with Bachelor's degree or its equivalent in Aeronautics, Air Traffic Control, or related field; two years of experience working as a Certified Professional Controller in an ICAO ATC facility, and training and teaching ICAO/ATC courses based on US and European ATC regulations; and certification in aviation/air traffic control from Europe and US.
Job duties: responsible for providing curriculum expertise for the international air traffic control bachelor's program at the University of North Dakota (UND), including: (1) Maintaining and developing ATC training curriculum and educational materials to ensure compliance with U.S. Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) regulations; (2) Maintaining and overseeing UND's International ATC training program to ensure compliance with all European ATC regulations; (3) Administering tests and evaluating student work; (4) Teaching Technical Aviation Communication ATC classes to UND students; (5) Counseling potential students overseas to help prepare them for English screening; (6) Maintaining, completing internal audits, and re-certifying UND's European Aviation Safety Agency certification; (7) Providing administrative support to the UND Aerospace Foundation; and (8) Assisting with additional projects as needed.
