If you are an EXECUTIVE ASSISTANT looking for an opportunity to grow, Emerson has an exciting opportunity for you! Based in our CUDAHY, WI location, you will assist the GM and their team as a strategic and trusted business partner. This is a unique role that combines traditional executive support with an agile function that delivers professional services which align with the evolving needs of the business. This individual should be self-motivated, proactive in anticipating needs while working both with a team and independently. Strong communication skills, the ability to multitask with accuracy and adherence to deadlines in a fast-paced environment are important. In this role, you will drive key initiatives critical for company culture and success.

AS AN EXECUTIVE ASSISTANT, YOU WILL:
  • Plan, coordinate, and ensure the GM's calendar is followed.
  • Research, prioritize, and follow up on incoming issues and concerns addressed to the GM, including those of a critical or confidential nature. Decides appropriate course of action or response.
  • Work closely with the GM to keep him/her well informed of upcoming commitments and responsibilities.
  • Schedule meetings and appointments to include various internal meetings and customer visits.
  • Complete a broad wide range of administrative tasks for the GM and their team including completing expense reports; composing and preparing confidential communications; arranging detailed travel plans, itineraries, and agendas; and compiling documents for travel-related meetings.
  • Meet with key business leaders to discuss and review key areas for business improvement.
  • Answer and route phone calls, mail, and e-mail messages and handle a wide range of information dissemination.
  • Acts as a point of contact with internal staff at all levels.
  • Schedule, coordinate and facilitate meetings, conferences, and other special events as needed.
  • Responsible for the creation/coordination, supervision, and completion of special projects.
  • Improve quality results by studying, evaluating, and re-designing processes; implementing changes. Ability to drive and develop new and efficient processes to align with our business goals.
  • Assist with department and company events; interact with caters and vendors for on-site and off-site meetings, including caterer vetting, orders and invoices, and event scheduling and reservations.

Qualifications :

REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:

  • Minimum of Associate's degree plus 3 years of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 3+ years of successful experience as an Executive Assistant and/or project manager.
  • Strong MS Office, Office 365, Oracle, Adobe Acrobat Pro DC, SharePoint experience.
  • Highest level of professionalism, integrity, and strong work ethic.
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills, including experience communicating with senior executives.
  • Strong organizational skills that reflect the ability to perform and prioritize multiple tasks seamlessly.
  • Ability to travel up to 5% for the position.

Schedule
The facility works 24 hours a day and typically 5 days a week. Our core office hours range anywhere between 7 am - 5 pm and are flexible given we work together to best support business demands as well as the needs of our customers around the world.
