Communications-Draft, edit and proof a wide range of communications on behalf of the President. This includes correspondence, reports, emeritus letters, faculty and student recommendations, special invitations, notes of thanks, messages to the community and congratulations.-Strategize and implement proactive internal communications on behalf of the President, in collaboration with Marketing, Insights and Communications. Maintain the Presidents office website and the Presidents presence on onestthomas and stthomas.edu.- Assist in proactive communications to the Board of Trustees and in writing and organizing materials to support the Board of Trustees.-Work with Student Affairs to coordinate and communicate Presidents messages to and presence with students.2. Constituent Services-Work independently, as well as collaboratively with the Presidents Chief of Staff and senior leadership team to identify and respond proactively to routine, sensitive and controversial issues.-Compose responses to issues raised by students, parents, alumni and others on behalf of the Presidents Office.-Meet with students who seek help from the Presidents office and help them navigate and resolve concerns. Provide follow up for students, faculty and staff who meet with the President.3. Events-Develop, implement and manage events, special projects and initiatives on behalf of the President and the Presidents senior team, as assigned.-Work closely with the Chief of Staff to ensure efficient use of Presidents time by planning events and projects and preparing talking points for events and speaking engagements.4. Presidents Office Operations-Work in concert with the Chief of Staff and Executive Assistant to the President to ensure efficient day to day operations of the Presidents office.-Ensure systems are updated to allow for file sharing and efficient processes for the President.

QUALIFICATIONS:
