One of our most prominent Agriculture clients has an exciting opportunity available within their Security Assurance Team. They are looking for a SOX Security Analyst to help lead the program ensuring SOX compliance throughout our client's environment.


This position will report to the IT Security Assurance Manager and will be responsible for providing input on design controls, help identify new and improved ways to leverage technology to maintain SOX compliance, assist with remediation efforts, and support the overall testing activities.


A successful candidate will possess the ability to function independently, apply professional judgement, interface with all levels of stakeholders, communicate complex matters clearly and succinctly. This talent should be a go-getter with strong collaboration and analytical skills bridging IT concepts to business processes and identify cost-effective solutions.


QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 4+ years of industry experience in IT Information Security
  • 2+ years of experience with SOX compliance and IT General Controls
  • Hands on experience with user access reviews (SOD, PAR, BAR)
  • Working knowledge of the technical controls and policies to audit and comply with SOX
  • Experience with SAP ERP ITGC implementation, testing, and remediation
  • Experience supporting management in an internal IT control environment
  • Knowledge of industry trends, direction and best practices in domain areas of responsibility
  • Professional certifications such as CISA, CISM, CISSP, CPA, ITIL and PMP, desired


RESPONSIBILITES:

  • Design and implement established IT SOX criteria
  • Develop strong liaison relationships with cross functional teams and IT leadership
  • Helping construct user access reviews specifically focused around the privilege's of users.
  • Facilitate interaction between the business and the organization's internal and external financial statement auditors
  • Partner with key teams to obtain and review evidence of compliance to support SOX requirements
  • Support the completion of the annual SOX review and remediation
  • Consult with leadership to improve control efficiencies and operating effectiveness
  • Lead projects to continuously improve configuration management and procedures for the environment
  • Assist with new technology implementations and vendor selections to drive further automation and efficiencies
  • Recommend and oversee adherence to technical controls, policies, standards, procedures, including employee training
  • Provide program support of information security program maturity disciplines to the organization's information risk management program including the development and implementation of an IT risk assessment process and oversight/coordination of industry assessments
