The Publication Associate role on the Wells Fargo Investment Institute Publications team is responsible for publishing timely investment content; formatting client reports; sending notification emails to distribution lists when new content is released; and proofreading for grammar, punctuation, and style. The position reports directly to the Head of Investment Publications.

Primary responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
??? Publishing: Publish a high volume of investment strategy and securities and manager research reports on Wealth and Investment Management (WIM) intranet sites; handle the formatting and testing needed to ensure compliance with American Disabilities Act (ADA) guidelines; send notification emails to internal distribution lists with links to newly released publications; and manage the archiving and removal of published reports based on compliance expiration dates.
??? Web page maintenance: Keep information current and links functional on internal web sites. Be able to make changes quickly and accurately to pages used by investment professionals and advisors to guide their clients. Respond to questions from the field or Home Office about where to locate content and to technical issues with accessing content.
??? Proofreading and formatting: Proofread publication drafts for grammar, punctuation, spelling, and adherence to Wells Fargo style standards. Pay close attention to detail and sensitivity to risk. Assist publication leads as needed with report formatting and proofing.
??? Train publishers: Provide cross-training on publishing and ADA formatting to Publications teammates; collaborate with teammates to ensure coverage; and communicate clearly with publication leads on availability and to understand publishing needs and timelines.
??? Business process documentation: Document and regularly review publishing processes; consistently make recommendations to improve efficiency and work flow; push to understand root cause of publishing issues, looking for long-term resolution; and assist in analyzing publication usage data to understand the impact of our content.

MO-Saint Louis: Min: $41,400 Mid: $57,500 Max: $73,600



Required Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience researching and preparing written communications; or a BS/BA degree or higher in a communication focused field such as English, communications, or journalism



Desired Qualifications

  • Strong attention to detail, including accuracy in grammar and a sharp focus on eliminating errors
  • Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and prioritizing skills



Other Desired Qualifications
  • Proficiency with website publishing
  • Proficiency working with MS Word documents and converting documents to PDF in Adobe Acrobat
  • Experience using Adobe Accessibility Checker to test content for ADA compliance
  • Ability to execute on deadlines, act with urgency in a dynamic environment, and tenacious in overcoming obstacles
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment, where collaboration and candor are important
  • Strong proofreading skills: Typos, formatting issues, grammar, and punctuation
  • Experience in Financial Services
