The Brokerage Investment Operations Group is seeking top performing, results oriented applicants to apply for WFA Operations Manager 3 positions. This Group is responsible for providing service and processing support for the Alternative Investment, Corporate Actions and Mutual Trading Groups.

Overall Responsibilities: Manages, directly and through subordinates, operational activities for a large single functional unit or multiple sections. Directs nonexempt staff. Works independently on moderately complex issues and supports major projects and initiatives. Performs operational policy and procedure reviews and supervisory controls. Manages ongoing processing efforts, including improvements, quality and risk. The Manager will be expected to support and model Wells Fargo core values and support diversity & inclusion initiatives. The Manager will be expected to work with the Department Managers, Risk and/or Business Support roles, to recognize and recommend operational process improvements that reduce risk, enhance the client experience, create and foster partnerships across multiple sites and form strategic alliances across the Enterprise.

  • Lead your team with integrity and create an environment where your employees feel included, valued, and supported to do work that energizes them.
  • Accomplish management responsibilities which include sourcing and hiring talented employees, providing ongoing coaching and feedback, recognizing and developing employees, identifying and managing risks, and completing daily management tasks.


Required Qualifications

  • 6+ years of operations experience demonstrated through work or military experience
  • 2+ years of leadership experience in operations demonstrated through work or military experience



Desired Qualifications

  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to interact with all levels of an organization
  • 1+ year of supervisory or management experience
  • Knowledge and understanding of advisory products and services
  • Ability to meet stringent deadlines
  • Ability to interact with integrity and a high level of professionalism with all levels of team members and management
  • Strong project management skills
  • Highly refined and professional verbal and written communications



Job Expectations

  • Registration for FINRA Series 99 must be completed within 120 days of hire date if it is not available for transfer upon hire. FINRA recognized equivalents will be accepted.
  • For specific FINRA qualification exams obtained after 9/30/2018, the Securities Industry Essentials (SIE) exam co-requisite may also be required
  • Obtaining and/or maintaining appropriate Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) license(s) is required for ongoing employment in this position. In addition state registration, specific product licenses or SAFE licensing may apply. Additional requirements include meeting enhanced financial fitness and criminal background standards. Wells Fargo will initiate the FINRA review process at the time of offer acceptance.
  • Ability to travel up to 10% of the time



Salary Information

The salary range displayed below is based on a Full-time 40 hour a week schedule.

MN-Minneapolis: Min: $65,700 Mid: $92,500
MO-Saint Louis: Min: $65,700 Mid: $92,500
