The role will champion the Morrie's brand for the customer experience along the customer's journey, blending thought and strategic leadership with brand execution and performance ownership. The Graphic Designer should have a customer-centric and ROI based mindset. The motivated individual should have experience managing resources and projects for print (event booths, signs, collateral, print advertising, etc), digital (web, email, social media, HTML, CSS, etc) against marketing roadmaps with cross functional teams. This person should also be able to approach problem solving in a composed, solution oriented, and highly creative manner, as there is a continuous need for original and forward thinking with respect to evolving needs of the team and company process. The right candidate will possess strong preference for working in an intimate, collaborative, and open work environment. This role reports into the Senior Designer and broader marketing team.Responsibilities:Collaborate with marketing team and store management to translate graphic design, social media, sales & service offerings across marketing channelsServe as a trusted partner between Marketing, Sales, Service, working closely with agencies and store leadership to translate business objectives to marketing strategies, implementations, customer engagement and growthDesign, create and manage promotions and social ad campaigns, being sure to integrate with company's overall marketing campaign plan and channelsAnalyze, implement and execute marketing projectsAssist in monitoring, listening and responding to users in a "Social" way while cultivating community, engagement and salesAssist in event planning for events we plan to attend or host, and join the team at the eventsCoordinate project delivery with internal team, partners and store teamsCoordinate with agencies to ensure integration and compliance with manufacturers Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create a consistent brand identity across multiple channelsCore Qualifications:BA/BS degree with emphasis in marketing, advertising, public relations, design, communications, or related field preferred or equivalent practical experience5+ years of experience in project management/operations working closely with a design/marketing teamStrong planning, organizational and project management skillsEntrepreneurial 'can do' approach with an adaptable change-oriented mindsetCombination of marketing knowledge, technical expertise and overall project management skillsExtensive experience managing multiple complex projects and budgets all at onceAbility to work well under pressure, with tight deadlines, and cope with changesAbility to work closely with agency partners to seamlessly deliver a unified message across all advertising mediums (digital and traditional)Extensive knowledge of brand standards and best practicesProficient in Adobe Creative Suite, primarily Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, and DreamweaverProvides objectives, evaluates performance, and gives interim and annual performance reviews of direct reportsPreferred Qualifications:Established standards and practices (request submissions, tracking, follow up, etc.) and ensuring team deliverables meeting high standardsWorking knowledge of custom HTML and CSSWorking knowledge of SEO content creation and performance analysisAssist in writing and editing copy and tag linesA pragmatic team-oriented attitudeA desire to learn about the business and customer engagement dailyAn intrinsic need and desire to help peopleA passion to winBenefits:We offer competitive compensation, as well as a comprehensive benefit plan - including medical, dental, paid time off, STD/LTD, 401K and life insurance.
