Audio Visual Technician - Temporary/ Casual (Freelance/On-Call)Provide AV services for HumphreySchool's Conference Center events. Assist conference center staff and clients (event planners) in all aspects of multimedia event production. Services provided include evaluation and advice on what media equipment is most applicable for the event, and the supplying of equipment to clientele ando perators. Audio Visual Services??? Participate in client planning meeting to advise and evaluate AV/media/technical needs, on occasion.??? Primary point of contact for AV concerns during events and technical troubleshooter.??? AV Technician is responsible for setting up, running, and tearing down a variety of AV equipment at the Humphrey School Conference Center such as video cameras, microphones, mixers, audio recording devices, projectors, laptops, lights, etc. ??? Connect to and coordinate all aspects of virtual event conference tools such as zoom, streaming to YouTube, Facebook Live and other virtual conference tools per client request and as technology changes.??? Video record events from control rooms and mixing booths, using both portable and fixed equipment??? Ensure post-production audio and video editing and distribution (normally next business day)??? Perform various digital media conversions for a variety of formats and access optionsRequired QualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent.??? Minimum of three years professional video production experience??? Ability to professionally set up and run AV production and equipment (mixers, microphones, projectors, laptops, etc.)??? Knowledge and experience working with industry standard digital video production software program; shooting and editing of videos, and multimedia content??? Knowledge and experience with non-linear digital editing systems and video production??? Proficient knowledge and competency of computers and software (Microsoft Office, Google Suite, etc.)??? Ability to communicate effectively with other freelance and full time employees??? Experience delivering excellent customer service??? Ability to work occasional nights and weekends??? Must be able to lift up to 30 lbs., sit, stand and move around for extended periods of time while operating audio visual equipment Multiple positions available.
