Reporting to head of Political Programs, this position will manage the third-party vendor management program for outside lobbyists and other engagements. Additionally, this individual will develop business control processes, procedures, and documentation to account for new or changing risk areas. This position will sit in Charlotte, NC; Minneapolis, MN or Washington, DC, and does not offer relocation assistance. Specific responsibilities include:

  • Manage the third-party vendor management program for outside lobbyists and other engagements
  • Resolve and document questions related to political regulatory compliance issues
  • Coordinate periodic departmental updates to policies and materials
  • Assist in the development and delivery of GRPP department compliance training
  • Manage ongoing monitoring, tracking and reporting of issues and remediation activities
  • Assist with internal and / or external process reviews
  • Develop and coordinate special projects

Government Relations & Public Policy (GRPP) leads the company's engagement with policy makers and leaders at the federal, state, and local levels on public policy and regulatory matters that affect our ability to conduct business and serve customers. The team includes six areas of practice - Federal Government Relations, State and Local Government Relations, Regulatory Relations, Public Policy, Political Programs, and External Relations - and is supported by the GRPP Compliance and Operations team.

Required Qualifications

  • 4+ years of experience in government relations or public affairs demonstrated through work or military experience



Other Desired Qualifications
  • Experience managing third party vendor management contracts
  • Experience with third party contracts management software (e.g. TRIMS)
  • Experience within an operational risk function, assessing the adequacy of policies, procedures, and processes
  • Experience executing organizational change initiatives and concurrent work streams
  • Experience presenting information in a manner that persuades, and enhances understanding at all levels

  • Ability to travel up to 10% of the time



Salary Information

The salary range displayed below is based on a Full-time 40 hour a week schedule.

DC-Washington: Min: $92,400 Mid: $132,000 Max: $171,600
MN-Minneapolis: Min: $84,000 Mid: $120,000 Max: $156,000
