The Commercial and Corporate & Investment Banking Technology (CCIBT) group executes the Wells Fargo Technology strategy and offers a strategic technology perspective to the lines of business (LOBs) they support. The group provides technology solutions to the LOBs and manages the application portfolios in terms of skills, stability, security, scalability, speed, and cost. Business alignment includes areas such as Capital Markets, Commercial Lending & Banking, Wholesale Digital, International, and Payments, Treasury Management Products & Customer Care.

In this position you will be asked to provide support for Payments, Treasury Management Products & Customer Care (PTCT) applications as an Systems Operations Engineer on the Platform Management Team across the portfolio. The focus will be to improve overall system stability and reduce Mean Time To Recovery (MTTR), enable High Availability and improve Disaster Recovery. Manage and monitor all installed systems and infrastructure. Install, configure, test and maintain operating systems, application software and system management tools. Ensure the highest levels of systems and infrastructure availability. Maintain security back-up, and redundancy strategies. Write and maintain custom scripts to increase system efficiency and lower the human intervention time on any tasks. Participate in the design of information and operational support systems. Provide 2nd and 3rd level support for Systems and liaise with vendors and other IT personnel for problem resolution. Understands compliance and risk management requirements for supported system area. May assign tasks and/or project resources; provides work direction and monitors work progress and adherence to technical process controls/standards.

Preferred Skills: - Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or equivalent experience - Strong analytical skills with both detail and big-picture processing - Self-motivated, well organized with strong innovation, infrastructure knowledge and development skills - Proven oral and written communication skills; excellent business presentation skills



Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of systems support analysis experience demonstrated through work or military experience
  • 3+ years of experience working in managed services as demonstrated through work, military, or education
  • 5+ years of technology experience across multiple domains within infrastructure architecture
  • 5+ years of application production support experience
  • 5+ years of infrastructure experience
  • 5 + years of experience troubleshooting environments across the entire architecture (i.e. applications to infrastructure)
  • 5+ years of scripting and automation experience
  • 5+ years of database experience
