Framing Carpenter $18-$35/hr. ***Up to $1000 Sign on Bonus*** - Milwaukee, MI.Great Lakes Skilled Trades are hiring Framing Carpenters today. Rough Carpenter's responsibilities include measuring, leveling, and cutting, framing walls, setting trusses, constructing window and door frames as well as staircases and flooring, and installing temporary supports and blocking for structures as required. Qualified Framing Carpenters will also be able to interpret blueprints and have sound knowledge of building codes and safety regulations. Metal Stud Experience is a plus. Our carpenters enjoy a variety of job duties.Qualifications:Accurately measuring, cutting, and shaping lumber, wood, and other building materialsPerforming repairs on existing framework structures that are damaged or structurally unsoundExamining of any building materials to identify any defectsPerforming cleanups of job sites by clearing away all carpentry debris and wasteConstructing walls, forms, and setting trusses and joists.Skills:1+ years of commercial and/or residential experience preferredMetal Stud / Steel Stud experience a plusSound knowledge of building codes and safety regulationsPhysical strength and staminaThe ability to safely use hand and power toolsExcellent analytical and problem-solving skillsStrong organizational skillsEffective communication skillsMust have basic tools of the tradeLet's build something together!
