Primary Responsibilities:

• Work with the larger cross-functional team and lead the development of analytics products for our Internal stakeholders and partners
• Manage the technology, models, processes, and budget to produce our suite of next-generation analytics
• Manage your team of professional data analysts and scientist to build analytics and reporting modules to find gaps in operations, care and data and by doing so, make lives better for our members
• Stakeholder back to P&L owners on impact and recommendations; bring visibility to risks and productivity across the organization and externally
• Optimize how members utilize the health system and how we understand our internal operations and external customers (providers, members, payers, prescribers, and pharmacists)

Required Qualifications:

• 7+ years of experience working in a matrixed environment, preferably in healthcare
• 7+ years of analytics experience (Models, scenarios and sensitivity analysis and tools to support - Alteryx, R, SAS, Python, Tableau, SSIS, VBA, SQL, etc)
• 5+ years of leadership and management experience
• 2+ years of telling a story with data to senior executives at Fortune 100 company
• Expert level of proficiency with Excel, PowerPoint and Word
• If you need to enter a work site for any reason, you will be required to screen for symptoms using the ProtectWell mobile app, Interactive Voice Response (i.e., entering your symptoms via phone system) or similar UnitedHealth Group-approved symptom screener. When in a UnitedHealth Group building, employees are required to wear a mask in common areas. In addition, employees must comply with any state and local masking orders

Preferred Qualifications:

• Healthcare Experience
• Master's Degree in Data Science, Analytics, or scientific discipline
• Experience working with healthcare data and/or customers
• Experience working in a consulting position
• Entrepreneurial spirit or experience developing or growing a business
• Written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to problem solve including multiple priorities and research conflicting data

Colorado Residents Only: The salary range for Colorado residents is $110,200 to $211,700. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, UnitedHealth Group offers benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
