Company has a career opportunity for a Vice President of Development. This opportunity is available in Milwaukee, WI, and we are seeking a highly motivated individual with a minimum of 10+ years of experience in commercial real estate development.

We are working to hire someone who is currently recognized in the marketplace as an experienced developer with excellent market knowledge and a proven track record of establishing and maintaining positive broker and customer relationships. Some things you can expect to do:

  • Develop and lead specific build-to-suit strategies to fuel growth and opportunity for Company throughout SE Wisconsin
  • Strategically pursue regional development opportunities in collaboration with the broader development team
  • Lead the pursuit of potential development sites and collaborate with our capital markets team on acquisition strategies
  • Lead all aspects of the project development process, including land acquisition, entitlements, leasing, financing and asset sales
  • Effectively collaborate with other Company service lines, including design, construction, capital markets and REM / RBS
  • Develop and execute market sales strategies, which will build and nurture on-going customer and brokerage relationships for Company
  • Active engagement in related industry and community organizations

To be successful in this role, a bachelor's degree is required.

You will really stand out if you:

  • Possess an MBA or MS in Real Estate or Finance
  • Have experience in one or more commercial property Market Sectors of Office; Industrial; Retail; Health Care; Senior Housing; Multifamily; and Mixed Use
  • Communicate a clear commitment to stewardship and community engagement
  • Have experience leveraging existing relationships for sustained success in targeted development submarkets
