The Northern Wisconsin Center (NWC) provides assessment and treatment to people with intellectual disabilities. NWC is recruiting for Physician Assistant or Advanced Practice Nurse Prescriber and Certified Nursing Assistant.

The Physician Assistant or Advanced Practice Nurse Prescriber is responsible for providing medical services to individuals receiving services at NWC. The position works closely with outside consultants and functions as an integral member of NWC's interdisciplinary team, providing ongoing health care and rehabilitation services. Minimally qualified applicants will be certified or eligible for certification in the State of Wisconsin as a Physician Assistant or Advanced Practice Nurse Prescriber.

The Certified Nursing Assistant provides personal care, assistance, training and support to individuals with developmental disabilities and mental health/behavioral issues in activities of daily living, socialization, leisure-time activities and motor skill development. The CNA provides appropriate assistance and supervision during workshop, school, and leisure activities, and helps individuals in developing behavioral self-regulation and coping skills.
