As our Finance & Operations Manager in Milwaukee, you will report to the CFO, Director of Sales and COO. You will support the growth of our business and internal processes by performing accounting, financial and operational functions and reducing coworkers' workloads reliably, diligently, and with attention to detail. You will proactively find ways to build cost-saving processes and lead internal change management. You will learn how to work in a global, often-virtual team with multiple levels of accounting, logistics, inventory and sales channels. You will regularly multitask multiple responsibilities including accounting, financial analysis, global freight, inventory management, and wholesale operations.Your ResponsibilitiesReconcile bank, cash, credit, accounts and QBO entries with correct amounts and classifications.Support the CFO in preparing monthly books and adjusting 13-week rolling cash flow and projections.Drive key metrics around order fulfillment, inventory control and COGS savings initiatives.Manage daily supply chain responsibilities needed to support our DTC and B2B/Wholesale channels.Support the Director of Sales with invoicing and tracking deductions, discounts and chargebacks.Consolidate global subsidiaries' QBO accounts to US and complete intercompany invoicing.Review and audit global subsidiaries' budgets and actuals to record variances for future planning.Source international and domestic shipping quotes (air, ocean, truck) and monitor those shipments.Ensure shipments have accurate documentation (FDA Data sheets, USDA Permits, BOL, CI, ISF).Support the CEO in managing diligence requests and Carta administration (equity and options).Accomplish all other reasonable responsibilities provided by supervising team members.Your QualificationsExpecting 3-7 years of experience in full-cycle accounting and operations and confidence in QBO.University degree or advanced work experience in accounting, financial management and operations.Technical expertise in accounting and working knowledge of finance and business operations.Excellent relationship building and English communication skills (written, oral and digital).Demonstrated compassion and empathy, strong work ethic and unimpeachable integrity.Readiness and ability to regularly perform under pressure and within short timeframes.Desire to be proactive and support other team members by reducing their workload.Excellent working knowledge of computer applications and familiarity with cloud-based software.What You BringHighly creative with a hunger for innovation and are natural-born problem solvers.Motivated by a passion to make the world a better place and love to take on challenges.Servant leaders who help to build the team and take on whatever role is necessary.Eager to learn and thrive in the fast-paced "fail fast, fail often" startup culture we embody.Collaborative in a highly diverse and global team and can work independently when remote.Critical and strategic thinkers with strong decision-making skills.Empathetic and patient, knowing no task is below them.Strong team players, knowing teamwork is necessary and that each role supports the other.The BenefitsCompensation: Targeted $52k/yr + stock options with fast growth; health, dental, vision insurance; 4% 401(k).Time Off: 9 Paid Holidays + PTO; extended maternal / paternal / adoption leave; flexible work schedule for lifestyles.Work Environment: Semi-remote working in Milwaukee downtown office with global travel and startup culture.Agricycle is an Equal Opportunity Employer and seeks diversity in all forms.About Polaris Talent Polaris Talent, Inc. provides enterprise caliber Talent Acquisition and Human Resource (HR) recruiting and advising via a Recruiting-as-a-Service model to high growth startups who have not yet scaled up internal recruiting capabilities or who need to augment their existing team.
