Baird's Equity Asset Management business has experienced strong growth with assets under management climbing to $8B from $1B in the past five years. Growth is expected to continue given the addition of new products, new teams and an increased distribution platform. Today, the business offers six institutional products - Mid Cap Growth, Small/Mid Growth, Small Cap Value, Small/Mid Value, International and Global - along with a Specialized Asset Management service to high net worth investors.

Baird Equity Asset Management is seeking a high-performing, detail-oriented individual to join and support our institutional sales and client services team. This role will have many facets and this individual will work on a wide variety of tasks related to our equity strategies (growth, value, and international/global) and investment vehicles (mutual funds and separate accounts). This person understands the importance of superior client service and is interested in building a career at Baird Equity Asset Management, which has experienced strong growth in the past 5-years.

As a Marketing Associate, you will:

* Routinely update marketing materials, including presentation books, fact sheets, and market commentary and distribute these materials both internally and externally.

* Populate consultant databases with timely and accurate quantitative and qualitative information for the team's equity products on a monthly and quarterly basis ensuring consistency with other marketing materials.

* Complete recurring and ad hoc RFPs for investment consultants and other intermediaries, along with maintaining an RFP response database.

* Utilize various software programs to prepare performance and peer analysis reports, including Morningstar Direct, eVestment, Lipper, and FactSet.

* Utilize email marketing tool to send out monthly and quarterly client correspondence and maintain the distribution lists within the CRM database (Salesforce).

* Assist in updating Salesforce database with current contacts, firms, opportunities, and other pertinent client information.

* Provide support to our marketing initiatives and other projects that help us build our sales and marketing programs, including website updates, Salesforce improvements and upgrades, and client reporting.

* Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills. Associated materials touch all end-clients and key partners, and extremely high quality is essential.

* Ability to prioritize work, handle multiple tasks simultaneously, and ensure all are completed by deadlines with minimal supervision.

* Strong interpersonal communication skills, both oral and written, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team. A high level of professionalism is mandatory.

* Willingness to take on a variety of tasks in supporting the business as necessary. We are an entrepreneurial environment, and everyone must have a "do what it takes" attitude.

* Looks to improve process refinement and improvement, including technology and automation projects.

* Bachelor's degree and 2+ years of related experience. Knowledge of asset management or financial services industry a plus.

* Strong PC skills with knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint along with the ability to quickly master various systems and applications. Understanding of Morningstar Direct, FactSet, PSN, Sustainalytics is a plus.
