This Information Security Engineer (ISE) role is on the Cyber Security Innovation - Strategic Initiatives Group within the Cyber Threat Management group performing application and system engineering for the Cyber Security Correlation and Automation (CSCA) tool. The ideal candidate should be experienced in system and application management in environments with complex configurations involving big-data technologies. Required Qualifications5+ years of information security applications and systems experience4+ years of information technology applications and systems experience3 + years of development experience with one or more of the following: Java, Perl, Python, or C+3+ years of Unix/Linux Systems Administration experience with in-depth knowledge of troubleshooting, OS hardening and OS tuningDesired QualificationsStrong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skillsAdvanced Information Security technical skills and solid knowledge and understanding of information security practices and policies2+ years of Big Data experienceKnowledge and understanding of security configuration management including: linking security policy with security configuration Knowledge and understanding of network security and network protocolsKnowledge and understanding of vulnerability identification and remediationSystem vulnerability detection and mitigation experienceExperience operating effectively in a geographically dispersed organizationOther Desired Qualifications 1 year experience working in an AGILE DEVOPS framework
