Responsibilities for this Accountant include:

Collects data to perform journal entries and prepare financial statements.

Performs accounting functions relating to the general ledger, financial statements and management reports as relates to our recurring clients.

Monitors cash accounts via on-line banking, review balances, reconcile bank accounts.

Reconciles assigned general ledger accounts according to the Fixed Price Agreement with each client.

Actively participates in the monthly closing of the books.

Assists the Accounting Manager with the collection of data for annual audits.

Responsible for all aspects of the payroll functions for our clients.

Gathers data, analyzes, and completes special projects as assigned by the Accounting Manager.

Assists the Accounting Manager to ensure the organization meets necessary financial regulatory and compliance requirements.

Reviews time and attendance records necessary to process payroll.

Calculates or reviews hours for all wage categories.

Processes and issues client payroll in an efficient and timely manner.

Prints and reviews payroll reports according to the clients' needs.

Ensures compliance with company policies, internal control standards, and regulatory requirements.

Maintains and files payroll related reports and/or documents.

Qualifications and Job Requirements:

5+ years of experience in an accounting role is desired

Solid working knowledge of preparing financial statements

Effective verbal and written communication skills

Bachelor's degree related to business or accounting is a plus but not required

Hours: Full Time, Monday - Friday
Compensation: $45,000 - $55,000
