Wastewater Facilities Engineer

THE POSITION

Manage the planning, budgeting, coordination, and execution of Water Reclamation Facility projects and programs. Investigate and coordinate conveyance and facility opportunities to maintain, expand and improve the Water Reclamation Facility treatment processes while ensuring compliance with policies, procedures, standards, specifications, and regulations.

Graduation from an accredited college or university with a bachelor's degree in engineering; plus three (3) years of experience in wastewater engineering related work; or any such combination of education, experience, and training as may be acceptable to the hiring authority.

A licensed professional engineer with the state of South Dakota is required.

Advanced degree in sanitary or environmental engineering is desirable.

Must possess or be able to obtain prior to hire a valid driver's license.
