Job Summary:

The Associate Product Manager will support the growth of the assigned markets by identifying potential products; showing expertise in customer applications; generating product requirements; determining specifications and supporting technical requirements for product introduction. The position will assess technical market needs and develop a technology roadmap to align with long-term customer needs.

Responsibilities:

* Support the definition of customers' needs through industry associations and customer relationships.
* Recommend future product lines by reviewing product specifications and requirements, appraising new product ideas and/or product changes.
* Support strategic customer projects to align with business unit strategy.
* Support and present technical content for industry events and strategic customers.
* Provide information for management by providing input for short-term and long-term technology roadmaps.
* Assess competition by comparing CPC product to competitors' products.
* Support product sales strategies with technical content.
* Support product pricing initiatives understanding value provided by application.
* Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies.
* Promote and train the CPC organization globally on the product attributes and key messages
* Develop relationships with key decision makers and strategic accounts.

Basic Qualifications:

* Bachelor's degree
* Minimum 3+ years of experience defining and launching new products to market

Preferred Qualifications:

* Experience working with thermal systems and/or components used in thermal systems
* Proven experience developing and implementing effective product development plans and strategies in a B2B setting
* Comfortable with ambiguity
* Creative problem solver with global perspective
* Strong written and oral communication skills
* Experience with fluid handling products/markets
* Experience working with and understanding distribution channel dynamics

Supervisory Responsibilities:

* none

Travel: 25% or less
