The preferred locations for this position are Horsham, PA or Minnetonka, MN. Telecommuters will also be considered.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • B2B product marketing campaigns: proactively develop integrated marketing engagement programs to develop new sales opportunities (lead generation) as well as engaging existing agency partners. Develop confidence of the business leadership by working closely with the product and sales teams.
  • B2B and B2C Marketing content development. Create and maintain marketing asset framework and architecture and lead the development and management of content including collateral, sales and training presentations, communications, emails, videos, etc.
  • Measure and report key marketing performance indicators. Prepare and communicate executive-level updates with recommendations for improvement and growth.
  • Identify and recommend opportunities for future growth by deepening understanding of the market, competition, business goals, and product value propositions.
  • Maintain a deep understanding of existing and future products, value-proposition, and business unit readiness for market execution.
  • Sales enablement and support. Develop and contribute key messages and assist in the development of key partner/agent pitches, upfront meetings and strategy sessions.
  • Work cross-functionally with the Government Program Sales Marketing team as well as within and across Insurance Solutions direct to consumer marketing, Digital, Product teams, and Compliance.
  • Engage directly with agents and partners to obtain feedback and market intelligence.
  • Ensure marketing materials and programs adhere to established standards and guidelines.
  • Foster a culture of curiosity, learning, continuous improvement, and innovation. Research, develop and seek opportunities to introduce best practices, new tactics and channels to engage customers and prospects in new and appealing ways.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 5+ years B2B marketing experience including product marketing, digital marketing, and sales enablement
  • 5+ years leadership experience coaching and growing directs in a marketing capacity
  • 5+ years communicating with c-suite employees
  • Experience managing multiple programs and projects simultaneously
  • Experience working with regulated products
  • Experience successfully planning, executing and measuring marketing campaigns
  • Advanced or higher level of proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
  • If you need to enter a work site for any reason, you will be required to screen for symptoms using the ProtectWell mobile app, Interactive Voice Response (i.e., entering your symptoms via phone system) or similar UnitedHealth Group-approved symptom screener. When in a UnitedHealth Group building, employees are required to wear a mask in common areas. In addition, employees must comply with any state and local masking orders.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prior Healthcare and Medicare Marketing experience in an Agent Sales environment
  • Advanced or higher level of proficiency in an Email/SMS design and deployment application
  • Advanced expertise in email marketing, online marketing, content management and data-driven marketing
  • Experience in a large complicated, matrixed organization
  • Experience with Jarvis, Salesforce.com, or other marketing automation platforms
  • Experience working with market research and customer journey mapping
  • Strong leadership communication and influencing skills; influencing strategy with stakeholders
  • Demonstrated growth mindset
  • Ability to be flexible and work with ambiguity
