As the company's second line of defense, Corporate Risk - or Independent Risk Management - provides independent oversight of risk-taking activities. Independent Risk Management establishes and maintains Wells Fargo's risk management program and provides oversight, including challenges to and independent assessment of, the frontline's execution of its risk management responsibilities. We manage risk according to the Risk Management Framework and ensure all employees understand their individual accountability for managing risk.
Conduct Risk Review (CRR) is part of the Consumer and Small Business Banking Testing & Validation (CSBB T&V) team within Independent Testing & Validation (IT&V). CRR is an independent risk group that conducts reviews to identify, assess and mitigate sales and service conduct risk that arises from inadequate or failed internal processes, people, or systems. The CRR team completes unannounced branch visits across the Branch Banking footprint to review sales and service activities.
The Enterprise Testing Associate will be responsible for internal Quality Assurance (QA) reviews of branch review work folders. This position will conduct soft QA internal reviews to confirm the CRR associates' work papers are accurate and complete and to ensure documents are in compliance with WF Audit standards, review items that are out of compliance with associates and managers, proactively seek ways to improve quality by implementing processes to minimize errors in work papers, and ensure CRR associates' e-folders are archived in Document Management Services (DMS). In addition, this position will manage, support, or coordinate various CRR activities and initiatives.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in risk (includes compliance, financial crimes, operational risk, audit, legal, credit risk, market risk, IT systems security, business process management demonstrated through work or military) or 1+ year in the foregoing or financial services industry and a BS/BA degree or higher in business or a related field
