The Quality Technician team is responsible for supporting the manufacturing function with QA activities to ensure nonconforming products are not produced and shipped to customers. This position will demonstrate inspection support as well as process improvements to sustain and improve product quality.

This is a 1st shift: Monday-Friday, 8:00am-4:30pm (occasional Saturday OT)

Responsibilities

* Uses judgement and initiative to provide audits and inspections on product quality according to Zebra's quality-assurance processes
* Conducts nonconforming material investigations and reports to Zebra's authorized vendors as appropriate
* May collaborate with management to drive continuous improvements and implement corrective actions
* May assist with the internal product quality reviews with cross-functional teams
* Supports new product quality plan implementations
* Demonstrates the ability to understand specific technical requirements, delivering output following broad framework

Qualifications

Required:

High School or equivalent 2+ years' of experience in quality inspection, root cause analysis, continuous improvement, and corrective actions Basic level skills in Microsoft including Word, Excel and Outlook

Preferred:

Experience working with quality management system Analytical abilities with good attention to detail Strong process adherence Fluent level of English (written and verbal) as well as local language as applicable Ability to work in fast-paced, multi-task environment Solid professional work behaviors (attendance, teamwork, time management) Self-directed with ability to be efficient with minimal supervision Intermediate problem solving skills Prior working experience in manufacturing environment (preferred Print/Label Industry)
