Development Manager - Real Estate

Horizon is a Wisconsin-based group of companies specializing in integrated development, construction, and property management services. Horizon has over 30 years of experience assisting our clients in developing, constructing and managing many forms of real estate.

We are adding staff to our real estate development team. This position is part of our integrated services team to continue to grow our firm in Wisconsin and Iowa communities. Horizon provides future growth opportunities and staff will work regularly with leadership team.

Our Development Managers identify, structure, and lead projects through the entire development process from site selection through project completion and lease-up. Among others, the position responsibilities include market research, feasibility, proforma development, site acquisition, municipal presentations, project entitlements, financing and tax credit applications, closing and underwriting process, and general development/project oversight.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in real estate, finance or similar program
• Prior real estate development experience: senior living, assisted living, rehab, green, medical office, hotel, etc
• Post graduate degree in real estate preferred
