Communications Specialist

Communications Coordinator 1 year contract with opportunity to extend

Robert Half is seeking a communications coordinator to join a dynamic communications team.

This role will help execute internal and external communication activities from planning to completion and will have writing and content development responsibilities.

This team creates stories, infographics, videos and global news.

This is an entry level position with the ideal candidate being a newer graduate with a communications background that has a desire to learn and grow into this role.

Seeking someone who is a strong writer and editor.

Primary responsibilities

Create and publish content for corporate digital channels social media intranet corporate website pages

Assist with social media community management

Organize and manage creative assets e.g. photography graphics video files

Manage and help send messages from communications inboxes

Maintain editorial calendars

Assist with other communications and marketing initiatives as needed

Basic qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Communications Journalism Public Relations English or related field

Excellent writing and editing skills

Experience working with Microsoft Office applications Word PowerPoint Outlook Excel SharePoint

Preferred qualifications

1-2 years of communications experience includes internship experience

Graphic design skills with working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite

Experience working with content management systems

Experience writing content for social media

Highly organized and detail oriented

Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
