Commercial Banking provides financial solutions to businesses with annual sales generally in excess of $5 million. Our business lines are Wells Fargo Commercial Capital, Middle Market Banking, and Treasury Management & Payment Solutions.
Wells Fargo Commercial Capital

This position is within Corporate Trust Services (CTS), a division of Commercial Capital.
Responsible for leading cross functional/virtual teams to strategize, plan and execute a variety of programs, services and initiatives that are larger in scope and complexity. Examples might include, but are not limited to: finance / operational / executive management review coordination, process improvement and redesign, change management initiatives, ongoing oversight of a leadership / diversity / recognition / Q12 or general program oversight. Provides leadership to other consultants and analysts in the integration/implementation of programs/services/initiatives with cross functional business partners, recognizing the significance of competing priorities and strategies, and adjusting as necessary. Develops metrics and tracks/evaluates performance of programs, services and initiatives. Ensures plans/programs adhere to appropriate policies and regulations. Engages program or project manager at the appropriate level as defined in the Program/Project Management Policy to guide implementation.
- Develop strong relationships with leadership, Finance, Technology, Risk, and Business Managers.
- Participate in strategic planning to ensure Agile portfolio alignment to business and technology strategies.
- Partner with business leaders to understand business strategy, goals and needs to create product strategic vision, road map and program backlog.
- Define and prioritizes strategic outcomes to meet business objectives across a group of product areas, in alignment with strategic vision for product.
- Incorporate regular and appropriate consultation with executive leadership, sponsors, business and other stakeholders to validate plan and approach. Ensure Risk Controls are met.
- Provide performance feedback managers of team members. Regularly coaches team members, including matrix management.
- Manage team of direct reports.
- Manage component parts of an initiative including needs identification; quantify benefits; resource requirements; initiative dependencies, planning and progression; financials management; status reporting; prolific and effective communications; ongoing risk assessment and adaptation; and appropriate escalation strategies and implementation.
Wells Fargo recently announced their intent to sell the Corporate Trust Services (CTS) business to Computershare, a global specialized financial services company. The sale was announced in late March 2021 and is expected to close in the second half of 2021. We are continuing to recruit for all open positions supporting CTS, but want to ensure you are aware that this position, along with around 2000 others, will transfer to Computershare when the sale closes. Required Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in one or a combination of the following: project management, implementation, or strategic planning
- 3+ years of leadership experience

- Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and prioritizing skills
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- Knowledge and understanding of project and process management
Other Desired Qualifications
- 5+ years of working within one, or more, of the Commercial Banking Lines of Business (Corporate Trust experience preferred)
- Strong understanding of Corporate Trust products and services
- Virtual leadership experience with ability to effectively drive results, provide feedback/direction, and manage and build relationships with leaders and team members in a geographically dispersed team environment
- Knowledge of Agile Development methodology, WF Enterprise Project Management methodology
- Strategic planning experience in translating leadership vision into executable strategies and initiatives
- Expertise leading initiatives from concept development through implementation with track record of successful execution
- Experienced strategic program management in a shared services, matrix organization
- Experience in effectively navigating and influencing a large and complex organization
- Ability to influence executive decision-making and successfully negotiate critical issue resolution related to program and/or project initiatives
- Strong relationship management skills, execution skills, along with an ability to influence
- Ability to handle highly confidential information.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects, meeting tight deadlines, independently and as part of a team
- Ability to effectively collaborate, partner, build relationships, empathize, influence, and persuade across the organization
- Advanced Microsoft office skills including PowerPoint

- Ability to travel up to 10% of the time
