Job Description"This role is currently work-from-home and will move to the office environment after the COVID-19 restrictions are lifted."6 Month Contract Business Overview: IT develops, improves, and maintains the wide range of applications, infrastructure and production services across a wide range of banking domains (e.g., capital markets, corporate banking, payments, regulatory and financial reporting, compliance, HR, data analytics) leveraging a mix of both global and regional platforms in accordance with the strategic objectives of the business and operations areas. Reporting to the Americas head of IT and Operation, the CIB Americas Quality and Efficiency department adapts locally the governance framework established by the Group, CIB, Operation and IT management, Identify standardization need, improvement and industrialization opportunities, measure and monitor quality throughout the department. It also act as a coordinator between all ITO functions, along with business and non ITO functions of the bank. The team operates in New York, Montreal and Sao Paulo. Role & Responsibilities: We are seeking a motivated business analyst with some project management experience to contribute to the implementation of a high visibility IT Continuity project in North America. The role consists in verifying that the functional and technical aspects of a newly built Disaster Recovery environment (infrastructure applications) meet the project requirements. Responsibilities include: 1) identifying, tracking and following-up implementation deliverables to ensure the solution is compliant with the initial requirements, 2) reviewing existing documentation (procedures, policies, control plans, other as relevant) pertaining to the aforementioned deliverables and assessing documentation gaps from a sustainability perspective, 3) proposing documentation updates 4) providing and presenting regular status updates to Q and Project management 5) developing tools (e.g. XLS, Sharepoint, etc.) to track progress and ensure implemented requirements and associated controls are in place. The candidate must demonstrate experience as BA / Project Manager in complex IT projects involving dozens stakeholders with various seniority across a diverse IT and business environment. He/she must have a good knowledge of IT Continuity, Operational resiliency and Sustainability principles, including Continuity risk scenarios, Cyber resilience mechanisms, Remediation plan management, response to Auditors etc. The candidate must also have a good knowledge of the IT value chain as well as good understanding of Corporate and Investment Banking activities (e.g., Global Markets products, Corporate Banking services). The candidate needs to have excellent organizational and time management skills. He/she must be comfortable with presenting to staff and managers alike. The candidate must demonstrate good leadership skills and be able to drive complex changes as well as coordinate the effort of dozens of stakeholders towards a single goal. Required Qualifications: College degree in Computer science, Mathematics, Business or Finance 7-10 years of relevant experience working in the Financial and Information Technology Industry Expertise in IT Continuity and Project Management Proficiency in Sharepoint, Excel and Powerpoint. Strong English communication skills, both verbal and written (French communication skills is a plus) Excellent organizational and time management skills Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Ability to identify and resolve issues and conflicts Ability to work in autonomy and fulfilling tight deadlines Ability to write and present meaningful status reports
