This position will be responsible for all general building care and updates for the Duluth Campus.Job Summary:Painting of walls, doors, railings, and other building structures. Sheetrock mudding and prep work before painting. Maintain the company's facilities and equipment to include general duties (windows, floors, trash and recycle, snow removal including equipment operations, yard care, office moves, etc.), Mechanical duties (plumbing, filter changes, scissor life and forklift operation, floor scrubber operation and maintenance of this equipment). General facility and ground care. Ensures that all assigned work areas are kept clean, orderly, and presentable at all times. Wears proper protective equipment during appropriate job functions. Complies with all paperwork that governs job duties as assigned by the Department Supervisor, or appropriate designee.Job Duties and Responsibilities (Essential Functions):Perform maintenance work orders and accurately record through daily computer entryPainting of walls, doors, railings and other building structuresWork as a cooperative member of the facilities teamWorks to diagnose breakdowns and fix facility and equipment problemsUses and follows the lock out tag out proceduresOptimizes work processes, maintain clean & orderly work environmentGeneral facility & grounds maintenancePreforms other duties as assigned by team lead, department supervisor or appropriate designeeWear appropriate attire and safety equipment for related jobQualifications:To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
