Director of Analytics Product Management


Job Purpose:

Establish the Company as the marketplace leader for information analytics and reporting in their market. Determine and implement information analytics and reporting strategy. Provide technology organization requirements for data warehouse and associated tools. Represent Company to external stakeholders and position Company as the expert for industry reporting.


Essential Job Responsibilities:

  • Determine Company's overall strategy for reporting.
  • Determine requirements for data warehouse including fields, outputs and self-servicing capabilities. Consider the needs of all stakeholders (internal and external), and ensure there are multiple channels to deliver reports/information.
  • Catalogue current reports and oversee migration delivery via data warehouse
  • Monitor the regulatory environment with respect to changes and/or new requirements. Update and implement as required
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to create, maintain and oversee Performance Dashboards and Operational Performance Dashboards
  • Oversee all aspects of Information and Reporting for both company business division implementations. Review and approve all reporting configurations.
  • Consult with clients and provide best practice guidance.
  • Responsible for determining training requirements for Company employees with respect to data warehouse reporting tool usage. Assists training to identify appropriate external programs and/or developing internal classes.
  • Build Company's reputation as the leader in understanding and executing technology enabled information and reporting processes by presenting at conferences, publishing white papers, and participating on industry councils.

  • Bachelor Degree in a related discipline
  • Business - Finance
  • Health Care Administration
  • Public Policy/Administration
  • Information Technology
  • Deep understanding of benefit plan reporting requirements
  • CMS and State reporting requirements for Medicaid and Medicare plans and other insurer obligations
  • Group and Individual plan stakeholder requirements
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience representing company to client leadership
  • Demonstrated ability to present information in relevant and compelling formats
  • Change management skills
